Club Information
The Tennessee Valley Airgunners normally shoot at the Ross airgun
range located on the east side of Huntsville approximately
1 mile off of HWY 72. The range sits in the middle of a beautiful
250 acre estate with both open and wooded shooting. Currently we
primarily shoot
Field Target
right now but plan to expand to other airgun competitions and fun
shoots as interest grows. Please come out and shoot with us.
Huntsville Driving Directions
From west of Hunstville, take I-565, US231, US431 into Huntsville to I-565 east.
Continue on I-565 east which will change to US72 the road goes over the mountain.
After you go over the mountain, the first light you come to is Moores Mill Road.
Continue on US72 east for about 5 miles and turn right on Moontown Rd. Look for a
small marina business on your right and a small green airport sign.
If you come in on HWY53, take it all the way to I-565 and follow directions above.
From south of Hunstville, take US231 or US431 into Huntsville to I-565 east and follow directions above.
From east of Huntsville, take US72 through Scottsboro to Gurley. Go through Gurley and
continue about 6 miles to MoonTown Rd. and turn left. Look for a small BP gas station
on the right and a small green airport sign. When you see the sign get over into the
left turn lane immediatlely and turn left onto Moontown Rd.
Once you are on Moontown Rd., follow it (about 1 mile) until it the road Ts and turn left.
The Ross property is now on your right. Follow the road until it dead ends and turn right
onto the Ross property. Follow the driveway past the building on your right and through
the tree line. As you go through the tree line you will go over a small bridge after
which you will turn right off the driveway onto a path in the field. Follow the path
towards the wooded area. The range is locate to the left of the wooded area. The path
will go up over a small hill so you won't be able to see the range until you drive over
the hill.
Roz's Hollow, Pulaski TN Driving Directions
Several times a year the TVA club shoots in Pulaski Tennesse at Roz's Hollow. This is a
beautiful place for shooting and Roz hosts a good match.
To get to Roz's Hollow from the north, take I-65 south to exit 22, go south (right) on SR31A to SR31 south.
Go south on SR31 about 8.5 miles to Hardy Road. Turn east (left) on Hardy for 1 mile to Roz Sumpters driveway
on the right and drive on in.
From the south, take I65 north just over the Tennessee state line to exit 1 and turn north west (left) on SR31.
Go about 9 miles to Hardy Road. Turn east (right) on Hardy for 1 mile to Roz Sumpters driveway
on the right and drive on in.
